Return to the Sources is a series of works that turns to the primal impulse of creation — the force that has moved and continues to move humanity, from prehistoric humans to the present day. The series engages with images of archaic culture and primary symbols of nature, approaching art as a form of memory, trace, and inner connection with the source. Created in the artist’s original technique of handmade cast paper, the works combine the materiality of the surface, a restrained palette, and the plasticity of form, referring to the visual language of prehistoric art. The animal images appear not only as natural forms, but also as carriers of vital energy, cyclicality, and the deep unity between human beings and the natural world.
