Paper Corporeality

Paper Corporeality is a series of works created in the technique of handmade cast paper, in which the female body emerges as a space of memory, vulnerability, and inner strength. The texture of the paper becomes an integral part of the image: its uneven, porous, living surface evokes skin, the trace of time, bodily experience, and the fragility of matter. The line appears as a primal sign — an imprint of presence, a form arising between material and memory. In this series, female figures move toward an archaic image: simple, powerful, and almost emblematic. The body is approached as a natural form — as organic as earth, stone, tree bark, or handmade paper itself. Paper Corporeality continues my exploration of paper as an autonomous artistic language. In these works, paper is not merely a support for the image; it becomes the body of the work itself — a carrier of trace, memory, and living presence.
